We, the Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Republic of Cuba, gathered via videoconference on 8 December, 2020, on the occasion of the 7th CARICOM-Cuba Summit held in commemoration of the 48th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the four CARICOM independent States and Cuba and the 18th anniversary of CARICOM-Cuba Day;

Sri Lanka, December 4, 2020.- The Honorable Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of International Relations of Sri Lanka, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Juana Elena Ramos Rodríguez. During the meeting, both parties highlighted the historical relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, as well as reiterated their willingness to continue working to strengthen them.
Cuba demands US respect its sovereignty
Havana, December 1, 2020.- The General Director in charge of the United States at the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, affirmed that Cuba will defend its sovereignty against the aggressions the United States currently intensifies.
