The Embassy of Cuba informs that from September 3, 2018 the consular services will be paid through the Bank of Ceylon, as well as new rates will be applied in Sri Lankan rupees.
The applicant must deposit the amount to be paid for the consular service requested in any of the Bank of Ceylon offices to Account No. 0075072609 "Embassy of Cuba".
The receipt issued by the Bank of Ceylon will be delivered by the applicant in the Embassy of Cuba, and it must contain the following information:

SRI LANKA, May 30, 2018. - A requiem Mass, organized by friends of Cuba, held on May 30, 2018 at 12.00pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church, in Colombo, to pray for the families of the dead and speedy recovery for the passenger who has survived but in a critical condition.
The mass held in the presence of Her Excellency Juana Elena Ramos Rodriguez and friends of Cuba.

SRI LANKA, May 19, 2019. - H.E. Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom President of the Republic of Maldives has sent a message of condolence to the President of Cuba His Excellency Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, following the plane crash in Havana.
The President’s message reads as follows:
"I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn about the crash of a Boeing 737 airliner in Havana, claiming the lives of over a hundred passengers onboard and critically injuring others."
