            I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the 72nd Anniversary of the proclamation of the Independence of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and I ratify our willingness to expand the friendship and cooperation relations between our peoples and governments.

Cuba rejects the pretexts of Bolivian putschist authorities to suspend diplomatic relations

Declaration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Plurinational State of Bolivia announced the decision of the putschist Government to suspend diplomatic relations with the Republic of Cuba, claming that the Cuban Government has systematically affected bilateral relations and has been hostile towards the Bolivian authorities.

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba strongly rejects the unfounded allegations of Bolivia’s de facto government.

 

61 Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution in Sri Lanka

SRI LANKA, January 25, 2020, - Organized by the Association of Friendship Cuba-Sri Lanka, the Guitar Association and the Public Library of Colombo and held at the headquarters of the latter a conversation about Cuba, “61 years of resistance and achievements”, on the occasion of the 61st Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.

The Cuban ambassador, Juana Elena Ramos Rodríguez, referred to the brutal and insane way that during 2019 escalated the aggression against Cuba by the current US administration in order to suffocate the Cuban economy.

Minister of Health of Sri Lanka received the Cuban Ambassador

SRI LANKA, January 13, 2020. - The Honorable Pavithra Devi Wanniarachchi, Minister for Women and Childs Affairs, Social Security, Health and Indigenous Medicine of Sri Lanka received the Ambassador of Cuba, Juana Elena Ramos Rodríguez, at the headquarters of that Ministry.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged on various topics of bilateral interest particularly on the possibilities of expanding collaboration between both countries in the fields of health and pharmaceuticals.

The meeting took place in a friendly and fraternal environment.

 

Cuban President congratulates Foreign Ministry on its 60th anniversary

Havana, December 23, 2019. Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today congratulated workers and diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minrex) on the 60th anniversary of the creation of that agency.

 

"Congratulations to our worthy diplomats, the workers of #CubaMinrex and the Cuban people for building, making, defending and exalting our foreign policy on the 60th anniversary of MINREX," the president posted on Twitter.
