Message of the President of ICAP to the World Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in the time of Covid19.
FTC Abuja, April 15, 2020. Within the framework of the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples (ICAP), the Cuba Embassy in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, transmits with great pleasure the Message of the President of ICAP, Fernando González Llort, to the World Solidarity Movement with Cuba in Covid's time19.
The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Clara Pulido Escandell was received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, by the director of the Department of International Organizations, Mr. Oluremi Oliyidi.
In a cordial environment, the Cuban ambassador thanked the invariable support for Cuba from Nigeria in its struggle for the lifting of the US genocidal bloc and reiterated the desire to continue strengthening relations between the two nations.

The government of the United States has deployed, as from last year, an intensive and defamatory campaign against the medical cooperation offered by Cuba.
The campaign also include a program designed to fund actions and information searches to discredit and sabotage the international cooperation being provided by Cuba in the health area in dozens of countries for the benefit of millions of persons. This is an endeavor added to the crude pressures exercised against a number of governments in order to obstruct Cuban cooperation
