In a friendly environment, the Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Clara Pulido Escandell was received at the headquarters of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by the Director for Latin America and the Caribbean and other officials of his working group.
At the meeting, both diplomats abounded on the good state of relations between the two countries and agreed in the interest of continuing to deepen them.
Among the activities developed, a bust of the Apostle was inaugurated and the film was watched: José Martí in the eye of the canary.
It was a night of reunions, solidarity and much patriotism.
Nigeria, January 7, 2020.- On the afternoon of this Tuesday, Ambassador Clara Pulido Escandell presented her Copies of Style before His Excellency. Mr. Mfawa O. Abam, Chief of Protocol, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
During the ceremony, held at the Nigerian Foreign Ministry, both diplomats agreed to continue strengthening relations between our two countries, while recalling the historical and cultural ties that unite us.

Nigeria, November 29th, 2019. President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed satisfaction with relations between Cuba and Nigeria, particularly the hand of fellowship extended in the area of health care and transfer of knowledge.
The President stated this on Thursday when he received the outgoing Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Carlos Trejo Sosa, at the State House, Abuja, on Thursday.
Amb. Sosa has been in Nigeria for five years.
Cuba and the African countries are united by historical ties which have always been ruled by mutual solidarity and collaboration. In the case of the Southern African Development Community (SADC),we have very positive relations with its 16 Member States and within its sub regional organization where we have an accredited Ambassador.
