Cuban ambassador in Lagos.

Nigeria, August 14, 2021.- Ambassador of Cuba , Clara Pulido Escandell, traveled to Lagos, economic capital of Nigeria, invited by the Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government, Hon Jelili Sulaimon, and the Amilcar Cabra Ideological School – Movement. She fulfil an extensive work program during her two-day visit.

Among other activities, Ambassador Pulido went to the Lagos State Parliament to meet the Honourable Muyiwa Jimoh, Deputy Majority Leader, accompanied by the Honourable Mufutau Adewale Egberongbe, a member of the House of Representatives for the Apapa constituency and several friends from Cuba. They exchange on the relevance of strengthening ties at the parliamentary level and talk about today's Cuba.

The meeting with Ambassador Ayoola Olukanni, General Director of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) was an excellent opportunity to talk about potential business.

Finally, Ambassador Pulido meet with Dr. Oluremi Nurudeen Olaleye, Rector of Lagos State Polytechnic, An oportunity to look together towards cooperation in the field of education.

The Cuban diplomat also talked to the press, including a special program for Sahara TV, to elaborate about Cuban reality and on the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba.
