NIGERIA, October 14, 2019. The AIT television network, which is reaching the African continent, broadcast an exclusive interview with the Cuban ambassador, Carlos Trejo Sosa.
During the meeting, the Cuban ambassador explained about the components of the Cuban National Health System, a strategy based on the conception of health as a human right, applied with equity and solidarity, principles that have allowed the Caribbean Island to show one of the best indexes of world health despite the US blockade.
The interview was a propitious framework for the Cuban diplomat to denounce the application of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, where he emphasized its extraterritorial nature and called for once again the voices of the peoples with their votes at the United Nations next November in favor of the Cuban resolution and against the Yankee blockade.
The Cuban diplomat highlighted the good state of relations between Nigeria and Cuba, where he highlighted the historical-cultural ties that unite both nations and the interest in continuing to strengthen these towards other areas.
