RUSSIAN Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev says Cuba and Russia are being subjected to unprecedented pressure against any rules of international law and existing international conventions. During bilateral talks in Havana last Thursday with President Miguel Diaz-Canel, Prime Minister Medvedev noted that the US economic blockade of Cuba had intensified over the past few months.
Premium Times, September 26, 2019. More than 500 delegates from 25 African countries and around the world have protested the 60-year economic sanction imposed on Cuba by the United States government. The protest march which was initially scheduled for the U.S. embassy in Nigeria was later held at the Unity Fountain, Abuja, on Wednesday.
