Cuba supports and strictly complies with the provisions of the Chemical Weapons Convention and the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, stated Cuban Second Secretary to the United Nations, Lilianne Sanchez Rodriguez, during the Thematic Debate on "Other Weapons of Mass Destruction", of the First Committee at the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly.
New York, October 13, 2017. In an environment where arts and music transported those present to Cuba, the #UnblockCuba exhibit was inaugurated at the Center for Cuban Studies in the City of New York. The exhibit showed the three award winning posters and other fifteen best works of the international Poster Contest bearing the same name, which official announcement was made in May of this year by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba and the National Design Office of Cuba.
