Cuba and Turkey sign governmental agreement on maritime cooperation.

Ankara, November 12, 2020. The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, Selim Dursun, and the Cuban ambassador accredited in this capital, Luis A. Amorós Núñez, signed today the Maritime Agreement between governments of both countries, in the headquarters of the said ministry. Top executives and officials from this institution and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officials of the Cuban Mission participated in the ceremony.

President Díaz-Canel sends a message of condolences and solidarity to President Erdogan for the earthquake.

Ankara, November 4, 2020. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent a message of condolences, on behalf of the Cuban people and government, to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for the loss of human life and material damage caused by the earthquake that affected Turkey.

In his letter, the Cuban president extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims.

President Díaz-Canel congratulates President Erdogan on the 97th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.

Ankara, October 29, 2020. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent a congratulatory message on behalf of the Cuban people and government to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the occasion of the celebration today 97th Anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

In his letter, the Cuban president ratified that to renew the willingness to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
