Mrs. Nantana Sivakua, Director General of American and South Pacific Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand (centre), who has been appointed as Thai Ambassador to Australia.

Today's exchange with Dr. Sakarindr Bhumiratana, President of the Thonburi University of Technology "King Mongkut", and his distinguished delegation, confirmed the good path of bilateral relations and reaffirmed the mutual will to continue strengthening them, within the framework of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries to be commemorated on May 15, 2018.
The Vice President of the Council of State, Gladys Bejerano Portela, accompanied by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marcelino Medina González, received this Thursday in a solemn audience the H.E. Mrs. Rommanee Kananurak, new ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand. The diplomat presented the Credentials that accredit her as Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the head of mission laid a wreath before the Monument to José Martí, in the Plaza de la Revolución.
