Cuban ambassador visits important industrial center of Pakistan.


Islamabad, December 17th,  2021._At the invitation of the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ambassador Zéner Caro paid a productive working visit to the city of Gujranwala, an important industrial and manufacturing center in the province of Punjab.

In his meetings with the directors and members of the Chamber, the head of the diplomatic mission confirmed the interest of local businessmen in the Cuban market, as well as identified several sectors of interest to boost bilateral economic and trade ties.

Prensa Latina and Associated Press of Pakistan sign agreement for news exchange and cooperation

Islamabad, September 10, 2021. In the presence of Pakistan's Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Chaudhry Fawad, Prensa Latina and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) signed today in this capital a cooperation agreement that will allow the exchange of news and collaboration in the area of journalism between the two countries. Mr. Mobashir Hassan, Executive Director of APP and Cuban Ambassador Zéner Caro, representing Prensa Latina, signed the document that will enable both agencies to exchange their daily news dispatches in English and via Internet.


Fruitful exchange with young Pakistani academics and students on the US blockade and sanctions against Cuba.

Islamabad, August 9, 2021 _ "Cuba is grateful that Pakistan has been and will continue to be by Cuba's side in its struggle against the US blockade, because it is an illegal policy that goes against the interests of the Cuban people and is contrary to international humanitarian law," said Ambassador Zéner Caro in an online session organized by the Youth Diplomacy Forum to analyze the US sanctions against the Caribbean island.
