Prensa Latina and Associated Press of Pakistan sign agreement for news exchange and cooperation

Islamabad, September 10, 2021. In the presence of Pakistan's Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Chaudhry Fawad, Prensa Latina and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) signed today in this capital a cooperation agreement that will allow the exchange of news and collaboration in the area of journalism between the two countries. Mr. Mobashir Hassan, Executive Director of APP and Cuban Ambassador Zéner Caro, representing Prensa Latina, signed the document that will enable both agencies to exchange their daily news dispatches in English and via Internet.

 

Fruitful exchange with young Pakistani academics and students on the US blockade and sanctions against Cuba.

Islamabad, August 9, 2021 _ "Cuba is grateful that Pakistan has been and will continue to be by Cuba's side in its struggle against the US blockade, because it is an illegal policy that goes against the interests of the Cuban people and is contrary to international humanitarian law," said Ambassador Zéner Caro in an online session organized by the Youth Diplomacy Forum to analyze the US sanctions against the Caribbean island.

Cuba and Pakistan stress importance of inter-parliamentary exchanges.

Exchanges between the parliaments of Cuba and Pakistan have been a cornerstone of relations between the two countries and peoples, said today the Chairman of the Pakistani Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani when he received Cuban ambassador Zéner Caro at the headquarters of the legislative body.

Islamabad, June 7, 2021 - The new ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Zéner Javier Caro González, presented on Monday his credentials to the president of the South Asian nation, Dr. Arif Alvi.
