CHIEF MINISTER OR THE PUNJAB PROVINCE IN PAKISTAN MEETS THE AMBASSADOR OF CUBA.

Islamabad, December 7, 2018. The new Chief Minister of the Punjab province in Pakistan, Sardar Usman Buzdar, received in the city of Lahore, provincial capital, the ambassador of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote. The meeting was an opportune occasion to review bilateral relations, in particular a cooperation project related to primary health care in Cuba. PAKISTANI-CUBAN DOCTORS ASSOCIATION (PCDA) REQUEST THE END OF THE BLOCKADE

We the members of Pakistani-Cuban Doctor Association (PCDA) graduated from prestigious Cuban institute Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) call for the end of the unjust embargo imposed on Cuba since 50 years. This persistent embargo goes against the basic human rights. The 193-member General Assembly passed a resolution against this embargo in 2017 with 191 votes in favor.
