President Biden:

You recently referred to Cuba at a White House saying: "I would be prepared to give significant amounts of vaccines if… an international organization would administer those vaccines and do it in a way that average citizens would have access to those vaccines." You also called Cuba a “failed state”.

Dublin, August 13, 2021. Today, when we commemorate the 95th anniversary of the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, has been expressly chosen to unveil a new mural in the city of Belfast, dedicated to the Cuban Revolution.

This new image recalls the gigantic Cuban flag that was raised last June on one of the hills that guard the city and also in giant letters the clamor to end the criminal blockade against the Cuban people.

Namibia, August 13th, 2021- As is tradition, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro was honored, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of his birth, on the street that bears his name, located in the center of Windhoek, capital of Namibia.

There are people who are trying to force us to join a hypocritical and double-standard howling chorus against Cuba. They try to downplay and even directly or indirectly support a murderous blockade, which is the main component of an economic, political and psychological war against the island state. There are people who get involved in aggravated harassment, harassment, and threats against people who support the Cuban government and political system. Politicians and some Cuban Americans in the United States have spoken in favor of a military intervention against Cuba. Now there are even people who believe that the United States should annex Cuba!

Monrovia, August 12, 2021.- Head of the Cuban Mission in Liberia received members of the Progressive Students Alliance (PROSA), a university party movement that has its roots in the political thought of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.

HeyLove Mark, president of PROSA, explained the political projection and genesis of his organization, and expressed his admiration for the figure of the Commander-in-Chief and what he means for the countries of Africa and the world.

The international virtual meeting "Fidel, a man of science with a vision of the future" discussed the legacy of the leader of the Revolution in pursuit of scientific and biotechnological development of the country, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of his birth.

Helsinki, August 13th. - On the morning of August 13th, the 95th Anniversary of the birth of the Commander-in-Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, a group of friends of the board of directors of the Friendship Association, the Communist Party and Youth and the Parliamentarian Group of Friendship with Cuba in Finland met at the headquarters of the island's diplomatic mission in this capital, to exchange on the life and work of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.

Palmerston North, August 13. The Cuban Ambassador fulfilled an extensive program during a brief visit to this city, in which Consul Dalila Vázquez carried out different coordination efforts for the next opening of the Latin American and Spanish Film Festival (LASFF) there.

The Ambassador was received by the rector of Massey University and met other officials, as well as professors of the Spanish language program.

He also toured various farms and agricultural research laboratories to learn of New Zealand's successful experiences.
