Accompanying the Chancellor was Mr. P. Maxwell Vah, assistant minister for American Affairs. On the Cuban side, the Second Secretary Carmen Maury Toledo also participated.

Monrovia, August 20, 2018-, On Saturday, August 18, there was a long day of celebration of the life and legacy of the Commander in Chief of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz. Conceived and organized by the Liberian graduates with Cuba, with the support of the Cuban diplomatic headquarters, the activity was attended by members of several youth organizations, representatives of the Liberian Foreign Ministry and other friends of Cuba. On behalf of Cuba, the Chargé d'Affaires, Yordenis Despaigne Vera and the Second Secretary, Carmen Maury Toledo, participated.
Monrovia, August 13, 2018-, "The date for this act could not be better". With these words, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Cuba in Liberia, Yordenis Despaigne Vera, ratified the symbolism of the anniversary for Cubans and friends of Cuba, while welcoming the guests to the official act of signing the Code of Ethics of Foreign Students in Cuba, signed by the new Scholars Jackie King and Breakthrough Praise Dixon. Among the guests were the mothers of the beneficiaries and officials of the Liberian Chancellery.
Monrovia, August 13, 2018-, On the morning of Monday the executive director of the non-governmental organization dedicated to the care of the disabled Inclusive Development Initiative (IDI), Mr. Alonzo Dorian Dixon II, was received by the Chargé d´Affaires of the Embassy of Cuba in Liberia, Yordenis Despaigne Vera. The Liberian delegation was also composed of Stephanie Fatu Kamara, County coordinator of Montserrado and Kelvin Kortu Kollie, researcher. On the Cuban side, the Second Secretary, Carmen Maury Toledo, also participated.
