Cuban Head of Mission meets with assistant deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of the Americas.

Monrovia, October 11, 2021 - In the early hours of the morning, Cuba's head of mission in Liberia, Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, was received by Liberian diplomat Lahai A. Koazolu, assistant to the deputy minister for American Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the African country.

Both diplomats analyzed bilateral and multilateral issues of interest to both nations.

Monrovia, October 10, 2021 - This Sunday morning, the Cuban Embassy in Liberia, headed by the Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, commemorated the 153rd anniversary of the beginning of the war for the independence of Cuba.

With La Demajagua and the other uprisings, the decision of sacrifice and intransigence of the Cubans to achieve independence at whatever cost was necessary was evidenced.

Monrovia, October 8, 2021 - Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera was received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia by Deputy Foreign Minister Honorable Henry Fahnbulleh, with whom she had an important exchange.

Monrovia, October 6, 2021 - On the Day of the Victims of State Terrorism we remember with deep sorrow the horrendous crime of Barbados in 1976, date in which the people of Cuba mourned because of the destruction of a CUBANA plane in mid-flight that took the lives of 73 people on board.

Only the courage of a leader, only the warmth of a wounded people, compact and firm after the news, kept the relatives of the victims on their feet.
