Dear friends, members of the solidarity movement with Cuba in Europe:

I am writing to you on the occasion of the National Rebellion Day, a date on which many organizations in different countries normally hold various activities to demonstrate their solidarity with the Cuban Revolution, motivated by the meaning of the brave action promoted by dear Fidel on the 26th July 1953 and that this year, as a result of the consequences caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, it will not be possible to commemorate it massively.

Dublin, July 4th, 2020. Historically, on the occasion of the celebration of July 4, "Cuba Support Group - Ireland" has held a demonstration condemning the Yankee economic blockade against the people of Cuba, demanding its immediate lifting and ratifying its sustained solidarity.

They have chosen for the demonstration the beautiful "Phoenix Park" where among other facilities is the residence of the US ambassador.

Havana, Jun 11, 2020.-The director general of the United States Department of Cuba's Foreign Ministry, Carlos Fernández, stated that the US attacks on Cuba seem motivated by frustration as a result of Cuba's successes against Covid-19.

The diplomat Tweeted that the urgency of the US State Department and anti-Cuban politicians to impose punishments on Cuba seems motivated by the 'frustrating' fact 'that we are about to control the pandemic'.

Association of Cubans residing in Ireland condemns the aggressiveness of the Yankee government against Cuba and denounces the complicit silence of the western world.

Cubans residing in Ireland affiliated with the "Ernesto Ché Guevara Association" express our energetic condemnation of the renewed aggressiveness of the United States government against Cuba.

Over the course of this year, we have witnessed the adoption of new sanctions against Cuba and shameful maneuvers to prevent Cuba from acquiring the necessary means to face the Covid-19 pandemic.

The State Department promotes and finances through USAID a smear campaign against Cuban medical collaboration in other nations.
