Fernando González Llort, President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, welcomed participants and devoted his first remarks to Fidel, recalling that the Cuban people have not been defeated despite 60 years of hostility from the United States.

Dublin, October 21, 2019. The Irish President, Michael Higgins, officially received in his residence our President Miguel Díaz-Canel and the delegation that accompanies him, a close and gentle meeting, beyond all formality.

At the gates of the Official Residence of the President of Ireland, known as Áras an Uachtarain and located north of the city, last Monday the Cuban flag was raised, as a detail of the prelude to the official reception.
