Athens, November 24. Cuba participated as a speaker in the event “Parallel memories and future perspectives. The revolutions of the 19th century and the achievements of today ”organized by the Group of Latin American ambassadors residing in Greece (Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Chile, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela) and the Greek Think Tank DIKTIO.
The event had two panels: the first entitled "History of the 19th century and revolutionary movements in Greece and Latin America", and the second entitled "Greece and Latin American countries: contemporary identity and role in today's world. Development, achievements and perspectives ”.
The Cuban speaker was Dr. Raul Rodriguez, director of the Center for Hemispheric and US Studies at the University of Havana
