Geneva, November 13, 2017- The Group of Governmental Experts on Lethal Autonomous Weapons started its work in Geneva today. It is the first time that this group has met since its inception by the High Contracting Parties to the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons at the end of 2016.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to the high level delegation from La Paz, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Clarens Emdara, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Integration of the brother Government of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
Today, November 8, the Departments of State, the Treasury and Commerce issued new provisions and regulations to implement the measures aimed at strengthening the blockade on Cuba announced on the past June 6, by President Trump and included in the executive order entitled “National Security Presidential Memorandum on Strengthening the Policy of the United States Toward Cuba”, which established the policy of his government towards our country.
