In the parade held today in Cuba for International Workers Day, our people have given an unwavering show of unity and support to the system we build. We are proud as part of all our heroic people, to uphold the values and principles of the Cuban Revolution. We will never disappoint the trust in the country that educated us and trained us in the values of the most humane of all professions, that of saving lives and preventing diseases.
The privilege of representing such a brave people, a history so full of sacrifices and heroic acts to achieve an ever better world, is the greatest of all spiritual and material riches. At a time when the US government the blockade against Cuba and threats of all kinds intensifies, only the signature of defenders of our conquests to the last consequences is what makes us invincible; That is why we reaffirm our commitment to be faithful to the homeland of Martí and Fidel and to the Cuban Revolution.

The brigade of Cuban builders in Dominica congratulates all the compatriots on this beautiful day of the workers. A day where we went out to the streets to express our support for the social model that we chose as a whole and that we will defend to the ultimate consequences.
We condemn the resurgence of the blockade and the aggressions of the government of the United States of America to our people for the sake of suffocating us economically so that chaos and kill ourselves among ourselves.
That is why we must be united and aware of what we defend to counteract every step taken by imperialism.

Cuba, April 25, 2019. - At a press conference at the headquarters of the Cuban chancellery, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, said that this morning was dawning with the news from the State Department of the update of the so-called list of sanctioned Cuban companies that number around 200, in which 5 new ones are included.
He recalled that the US national security adviser John Bolton said on April 17 that "together we can finish what started on those beaches - Playa Girón - and that the Monroe Doctrine is alive and well. "No one should forget that the Monroe Doctrine has historically been associated with the use of force by US imperialism in Latin America and the Caribbean," he said.
