Roseau. March 21, 2019. Members of the solidarity movement with Cuba in Dominica held a meeting on the night of yesterday, March 20, 2019, with the Ambassador of Cuba in this country. Ulises Arranz Fernández. The meeting took place at the offices of the Dominican Agency for Exports and Imports (DEXIA), where Gregoire Thomas, General Manager of the Agency, who was part of the first group of dominican students who studied in Cuba and graduated from Higher Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Havana.

The Revolutionary Government strongly condemns the sabotage perpetrated against the power supply system in Venezuela, which is a terrorist action intended to harm the defenseless population of an entire nation and turn it into a hostage of the non-conventional war launched by the government of the United States against the legitimate government headed by comrade Nicolás Maduro Moros and the civic and military union of the Bolivarian and Chavista people. The Ambassador of Cuba in Dominica, Ulises Arranz Fernández, held a working meeting with the Minister of Public Health and Social Services of Dominica, Dr. Kenneth Darroux, today. The meeting was held at the headquarters of that Ministry and also had the presence of the Permanent Secretary, Letitia Lestrade-Wyke and Dr. David Johnson, Medical Chief, both senior officials of that Ministry. Both the Minister Dr. Kenneth and Dr. David graduated in Cuba in the medical career, for which they feel a special affection for our country.
