In accordance with the new sanitary measures recently established by the Irish Government authorities for the city of Dublin, this Consular Office will continue to carry out consular procedures only through the postal service, until further notice.

Dublin, September, 2020. Cllr. Aaron O'Rourke, member of the Fingal County Council for the Sinn Fein party, paid a visit to the Cuban ambassador to Ireland Hugo René Ramos Milanés, during which they held a broad exchange on current national and international affairs and development of the relations between both countries.

Cllr O'Rourke is the youngest Sinn Fein Councilor was graduated as teacher at Dublin City University.

The Cuban Embassy in Ireland is pleased to announce that, during the celebration of the upcoming Dublin Cultural Night, Irish photographer Lynn Feeney will take us on a trip to Cuba through her vibrant collection of images. She will share anecdotes and experiences during her travels and will discover the value of the company of her local friend, and professional photographer, Ramsés Batista.

Considering that the Irish authorities have postponed the start of the fourth phase of the schedule for modifying the restrictions imposed for protection against COVID-19, due to a relative growth in positive cases that occurred especially in the last two weeks as well as the sanitary regulations of the Cuban authorities for their representations abroad, the Consular Office in Dublin will continue to carry out consular procedures only through the postal service, until further notice.

Dublin, January 30, 2020. On the occasion of the traditional New Year's greeting to the accredited diplomatic corps, the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins sent his best regards to the Cuban people and President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, recalling the recent Official visit to Ireland, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two States.

Limerick, Ireland, January 21, 2020. In solemn ceremony received his Master's certificate in International Tourism from the University of Limerick the young Cuban Antonio Rivero González, official of the Ministry of Tourism in the municipality of Varadero, province of Matanzas.
