Cambodian Minister of Information received the new ambassador of Cuba

H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios, newly appointed Ambassador of Cuba to Cambodia, payed a courtesy call on Cambodian Minister of Information H.E. Khieu Kanharith, at the ministry office this morning. Both sides informed each other of the situation of COVID-19 pandemic in their respective countries as well as the preventive measures taken.

Cuba Pledges to Further Boost Cooperation with Cambodia

Cuba has pledged to further boost cooperation with Cambodia in all sectors, especially in public security. The commitment was revealed by H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios, newly appointed Ambassador of Cuba to Cambodia, in her recent meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng here in Phnom Penh.

Cambodia thanks Cuba's health support

The Minister of Health of Cambodia, Man Bunheng, thanked the Ambassador of Cuba, Liurka Rodriguez, for Cuba's support in the topic of health, and spoke for the cooperation and friendship between both countries.Bunheng reminded of the work of the Cuban doctors in the 80s and 90s, when Cambodia was recovering from a heavy war and lacked personnel and resources to tend to the needs of its population.
