Meeting of the Ambassador of Cuba with President of Croatia strengthens relations between both countries

Ilok, Croatia, 15 January 2018. On the occasion of the New Year´s Reception hosted by Her Excellency Ms. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of the Republic of Croatia to the diplomatic corps accredited to that country, the Cuban Ambassador. His Excellency Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios exchanged greetings with the President and other Croatian authorities such as H.E Ms. Marija Pejčinović Burić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Foreign and European Affairs. It was a suitable opportunity to reaffirm the good state of bilateral relations and the willingness to continue strengthening them.

Cuba Strongly Condemns Donald Trump Racist Statements

Cuba described as insults of US President Donald Trump to Haiti, El Salvador, and African states and countries from other continents as racist, denigrating and rude, the Granma newspaper reported today in a declaration of the Cuban Foreign Affairs Ministry.

National Award of Social Sciences of Cuba, Dr. Sergio Guerra Vilaboy teaches Master Conference at the University of Vienna

The prestigious University of Vienna welcomed the master conference imparted by the renowned Cuban researcher, professor, and historian Dr. Sergio Guerra Vilaboy, recipient of the 2017 National Award on Social Sciences. A numerous audience composed of academicians, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Austria, students and friends of Cuba attended the lecture.

Cuba participates in the Vienna Tourism Fair

The most important Tourism Fair to Austria is celebrated from 11 to 14 January in Vienna.  It is expected the attendance of 150 thousand visitors, among them: professionals of tourism, representatives of the press and general public.
