They offer a tribute concert to Franz Schubert in Cuba

Today, Jan 24 , Young performers of concert music in Cuba will perform today a show in homage to the renowned Austrian composer Franz Schubert, in order to celebrate the 190 anniversary of his death in 2018.

A few days ahead of the commemoration of the 165th anniversary of the birth of our National Hero Jose Martí this January 28, Cuba takes pride in being part of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC). Its foundation crystallized the message of independence and unity of the region contained in Martí’s essay entitled “Our America”.

International Book Fair 2018, Havana, Cuba

With exactly 12 days in between, the 1st of February will be filled with lights the Wonder City. Havana, will host the Morro - Cabaña Complex, the International Book Fair, which will celebrate its twenty - seventh anniversary. In an atmosphere of wisdom and culture, Cubans will enjoy the benefits that the event offers us, by allowing us an insight into the immense Cuban and foreign literary world.

Meeting of the Ambassador of Cuba with President of Croatia strengthens relations between both countries

Ilok, Croatia, 15 January 2018. On the occasion of the New Year´s Reception hosted by Her Excellency Ms. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of the Republic of Croatia to the diplomatic corps accredited to that country, the Cuban Ambassador. His Excellency Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios exchanged greetings with the President and other Croatian authorities such as H.E Ms. Marija Pejčinović Burić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Foreign and European Affairs. It was a suitable opportunity to reaffirm the good state of bilateral relations and the willingness to continue strengthening them.

Cuba Strongly Condemns Donald Trump Racist Statements

Cuba described as insults of US President Donald Trump to Haiti, El Salvador, and African states and countries from other continents as racist, denigrating and rude, the Granma newspaper reported today in a declaration of the Cuban Foreign Affairs Ministry.
