Fundraising event for Cuba hold in Sydney

The flag of the lonely star was hissed this Sunday in Sydney Bay aboard the cruise ship SydneyPearl, in the framework of an activity organized by the Australian-Cuban Solidarity Association of West Sydney, with the support of the Cuban Embassy, ​​to raise funds destined for the recovery of the island after the passage of Hurricane Irma.

October Socialist Revolution 100th Anniversary Celebration in Sydney

Sydney, 8th of November 2017. At the offices of the Maritime Union of Australia, the centenary of the October Socialist Revolution was commemorated as part of an activity organized by the representation of the Australian Communist Party in Sydney.

Many interventions were made that recalled the importance of the Russian Revolution and urged to continue the struggle for the vindication of the working class.

Tribute paid to Fidel in Albury

Albury, 23th of October 2017. The photo exhibition Fidel es Fidel by the outstanding Cuban filmmaker and photographer Roberto Chile was presented in Albury on October 21st and 22nd as part of an initiative organized by the Australian-Cuban Solidarity Association in Victoria and supported by the Embassy of Cuba in Australia.

The vice mayor of Albury, Amanda Cohn, also attended the opening session.

The attendees enjoyed the 17 snapshots, taken by Roberto Chile's masterful lens, of the Eternal Commander between 2005 and 2012.
