Cuba advocates more humane policies to tackle Covid-19.

Havana, Jan 30, 2021 .- Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez called on monday to prioritize more humane policies as opposed to economic profit and political advantages to fight Covid-19 in the world. In a message posted on his Twitter account, Rodriguez condemned global inequalities in the fight against the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Cuba to produce 100m COVID-19 vaccine doses.

The Mast, 27  January 2021. CUBA says it aims to create capacity to produce 100 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Finlay Vaccine Institute general director Vicente Vérez Bencomo said Cuba was creating the capacity to produce Soberana 02 injectable COVID-19 vaccine doses.

Cuba welcomes entry into force of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons

New York, 22 January 2021. Together with the United Nations, Cuba welcomed the entry into force today of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. The Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) was adopted at the United Nations conference to negotiate a legally binding instrument to prohibit nuclear weapons, leading towards their total elimination, held in 2017.
