In the framework of the Budapest Water Summit held from 15 to 17 October, 2019 in that city, the MoU for Cooperation in the field Integrated Management and Sustainable Water Resources between the National Institute for Water Resources of the Republic of Cuba and the Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism of Austria was signed.
In a press conference to the Austrian media, the Ambassador of Cuba to Austria, H.E. Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios denounces the damages caused by the economic, financial, and commercial blockade that U.S maintains against Cuba for almost 60 years and, particularly the tightening of this policy by the current U.S Administration.

The Embassy of Cuba in Austria wishes to inform that the offices of the Consular Section will remain closed on Wednesday, 9 October 2019 and Thursday, 10 October 2019 due to official issues.
The customer services will be resumed on Monday, 14 October 2019 in the regular working hours.
