Ljubljana, 24 October 2019. The Director-General for Common Foreign and Security Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Mr. Matej Marn received today the Ambassador of Cuba to that European country, H.E. Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios in the headquarters of the Ministry.

In the framework of the Budapest Water Summit held from 15 to 17 October, 2019 in that city, the MoU for Cooperation in the field Integrated Management and Sustainable Water Resources between the National Institute for Water Resources of the Republic of Cuba and the Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism of Austria was signed.
In a press conference to the Austrian media, the Ambassador of Cuba to Austria, H.E. Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios denounces the damages caused by the economic, financial, and commercial blockade that U.S maintains against Cuba for almost 60 years and, particularly the tightening of this policy by the current U.S Administration.
