Update of Covid-19 in Cuba (March 24, 2020)

The authorities in Cuba informed on new measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the country.  All schools, including Universities, are closed till mid April.  All foreign sutudents will remain in their hostels following new modalities of education and the public health protocols to prevent COVID-19.

All foreign tourists are banned to enter the territory of the Republic of Cuba.  All commercial flights still available will only transport permanent residents in Cuba and foreign tourists leaving the country.

The Ministry of Public Health informed on 48 confirmed cases (29 Cubans and 19 foreigners). Three of them are in ICU (2 critical but in stable condition) and one is facing a serious health situation.
