In St. Vincent and the Grenadines, they support a Nobel Prize nomination for Cuban Medical Brigade.

Kingstown, June 22, 2020. The Association of Cuban Residents in St. Vincent and the Grenadines "Juan Almeida Bosque" supports the proposal to award the Nobel Peace Prize to the Cuban Medical Brigade "Henry Reeve" in recognition of its humanitarian work in confronting pandemics and natural disasters.

In the midst of the intensification of the blockade, the increase of sanctions and the hostility against our country, the Cubans living on the Caribbean island denounce the attempts of the US government and its lackeys to discredit the solidarity character of the medical missions of the largest of the Antilles.

In this sense, the Association of Cuban Residents in St. Vincent and the Grenadines has joined the growing demand to grant the Cuban Medical Brigade "Henry Reeve" the Nobel Peace Prize, in response to the exemplary humanitarian work carried out in the last 15 years and especially in confronting the current Covid-19 pandemic.

On June 10, on the occasion of the ALBA-TCP Virtual Summit, the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, reiterated the support of the government and people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the awarding of the renowned prize to the Cuban Medical Brigade.

In this sister nation, a representation of the Cuban Medical Brigade "Henry Reeve" is working, integrated by 16 professionals of the health of our country.
