Ulan Bator, Mongolia. March 1, 2019. School No. 52. "José Martí" of Ulaanbaatar, commemorated the 166th Anniversary of the birth of Cuban National Hero José Martí with the presence of the Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción. In an emotional and joyful ceremony, the best works of the seven different contests celebrated between the 6th and 12th grade students were awarded. As every year, the board of this institution presents different initiatives to celebrate this important date for this educational center and for Cubans.
This occasion was different, with the aim of expanding the participation of students in the school were organized seven different competitions that included painting, essays on Martí's work, poetry, questions and answers about Cuba, Cuban music, Design Project to improve the courtyard of the allegorical school of José Martí, etc.
The best works selected among the students were exhibited in the so-called "José Martí Honor Room", which was renovated with the effort and resources of the teachers of the school. The Director of the Institution Mrs. L. Tsernkhand, in her words to the winners, indicated that the school will continue working to improve the capacities and teaching of the students in a worthy tribute to the life of the Latin American apostle who dedicated the most part of his work to the teaching of young people.
In his words to the students, the Cuban Ambassador expressed his satisfaction for the quality of the works presented in the different manifestations in which it could be seen that the students had made in-depth investigations about the life and work of José Martí and about Cuba. (EmbaCuba Mongolia)
