Wellington - During a brief meeting with Cuban diplomats in New Zealand, the Prime Minister of Vanuatu, Charlot Salwai, expressed his gratitude and satisfaction for the results of the Cuban medical cooperation with his country.
The leader of the small Pacific island highlighted the insertion in local hospitals and clinics of young graduates from his country, who have attended medicine studies in Cuba.
Charlot Salwai is visiting New Zealand, where he has completed a bilateral agenda and held official talks with Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern.
The meeting with the Cuban diplomats took place at the headquarters of Havana Coffee Works, a New Zealand company that has been importing Cuban coffee for 20 years and recently has been promoting business with coffee growers from Vanuatu. (Embacuba NZ)
