NEW ZEALAND, October 8th, 2018.- New Zealand Minister of Trade and Export Growth, Hon. David Parker, hosted First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Marcelino Medina González, who made a working visit to this Pacific country as part of his tour through the region.
Both sides agreed to highlight the positive cooperation links developed in recent years, in diverse areas such as trade, agriculture, education and culture. They also referred to the updating process of the Cuban economic model and the new investment opportunities in the Caribbean island.
As part of the exchange, the Cuban leader also referred to the interest of his country in watching closely New Zealand path of development and expertise in key areas, which could also be beneficial for Cuba. (Cubaminrex)
