Kuwait, July 27, 2017. Organized by the Cuban Embassy in Kuwait, an event dedicated to the 64th Anniversary of the Assault at the Moncada Barracks in Santiago de Cuba and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes in Bayamo was held at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission.
The event was presided over by the Cuban ambassador to Kuwait, Andrés González Garrido, who emphasized the historical significance of this celebration, the first without the physical presence of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, but with his memory and example.
A video material was presented, which includes the transcendental events of July 26, as well as the words of cro. Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, second secretary of Communist Party of Cuba in the celebration ceremony in the province of Pinar del Rio.
The members of the brigade of nurses in Kuwait, representatives of the resident Cuban community and the staff of the diplomatic mission and on official mission participated in the event.
