King of Eswatini, Mswati II, concluded fruitful visit to Cuba from

Pretoria, 2nd October, 2019.- The African president's agenda included a meeting with the president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez; a tour of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) and the Historic Center of Old Havana and the “Casa de África” museum, to which he donated a typical piece of Swazi culture.

His program also included a visit to the José Martí Memorial in the Cuban capital where the monarch deposited a floral offering in tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí and a meeting with a representation of students from his country who are studying medicine in Cuba.
Mswati III, thanked Cuba for its solidarity and cooperation with African countries and in particular with Eswatini. This visit helped to boost bilateral relations and was spaces to ratify the willingness of both countries to continue strengthening bilateral relations.
