Ethiopians celebrated the 35th anniversary of their graduation in Cuba

Addis Abeba, February 3rd, 2018.  The members of the "Granma 72" Association celebrated the 35th anniversary of the first group graduated in Cuba.  In the event, the Ethio-Cubans highlighted the important experiences and teachings received while they studied in the Inter Army Academy General "José Maceo"  in the province of Santiago de Cuba.

The Ambassador of Cuba to Ethiopia, H.E. Mrs. Vilma Thomas  congratulated the group because it forged an indestructible link between our peoples and marked the emergence of a contingent of young Ethiopians who founded in Cuba their second homeland.  

During the event it was launched an Special Magazine on the history of "Granma 72" Association and the participants pay hommage to their classmates who passed away during recent years and dedicated a moment of silence to the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
