Cuban Ambassador José Ramón Cabañas and Minister Counselor Rubén Ramos, Head of the economic-commercial office of the diplomatic representation of Cuba to the United States, paid a fruitful working visit to Indiana, which ended on July 1st.
During their stay in that State, the Cuban diplomats were received by high-ranking officials of said State government in the city of Indianapolis, and by leaders of both chambers of the State legislature.
As part of the program, the Cuban representatives participated in a business round table at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, a framework where it was made evident the interest of the business community from that State in developing and expanding the trade ties with our country.
The Cuban diplomats also had the opportunity to meet with the Indiana Farm Bureau and to pay a field visit to a group of producers of that territory who are interested in doing business with Cuba. The Ambassador and Minister Counselor also met with a representation of the Cuban Americans residing in Indiana.
