Cuban Delegations Takes Part in 66th Executive Board of the Common Fund for Commodities

The Hague, 10 October 2018. A delegation of the Embassy of Cuba in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, headed by Ambassador Soraya Alvarez Núñez, took part in the 66th Executive Board of the Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) held in Amsterdam, base of this international organization, on this day. 

One more time, the Ambassador acted as Alternate Executive Director of constituence No. 15, which is also composed by  Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua.  The Fund is currently composed on 101 State Members and 9 insititutions.

The Board was also a great opportunity to exchange with the Director General, Mr. Parvindar Singh and various members of the Secretariat on the new strategies of this organization and the projects currently being implemented in Lati America. The Ambassador also exchangedwith the representatives of the Group of Countriels of Latin Americanand the Caribbean (GRULAC) such as  Venezuela, Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, México, Ecuador and Peru, who also took part in this meeting.
