Cuban and Malaysian representatives assess the progress of bilateral ties

Kuala Lumpur, February 12- The ambassador of Cuba in Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, was received by Mrs. Kamsiah Kamairuddin, director of Americas of the Malaysian chancellery, on the occasion of assuming this new position.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the development of bilateral ties and agreed on the need to strengthen them through the exchange of experiences in sectors of mutual interest and high-level delegations to deepen the political dialogue.

The Malaysian ambassador took the opportunity to reiterate to the Malaysian government the United Nations support for the Cuban resolution against the blockade.
