Cuban Ambassador presents business opportunities in Cuba at LANZBC event.

Auckland, October 22. At an event organized by the Latin America / New Zealand Business Council (LANZBC), in the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, the Ambassador of Cuba, Edgardo Valdés López and the New Zealand businessman Geoff Marsland, from the Havana Coffee Works (HCW) company , presented to more than one hundred young professionals, entrepreneurs and executives of LANZBC, the new business and investment environment in Cuba and the concrete experience of HCW.

Attending the event, among others, were the President of LANZBC, Peter McMenamin, the President of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) Laetitia Laubscher, the YPN Project Manager, Laura Cheftel, the Consul General of Colombia, Julianna Pungipulli, and the Ambassador of New Zealand in that country, Lucy Duncan, who spoke about the cooperation between Latin America and New Zealand on trade, disarmament, peace and environment issues.

After the presentations, there was an extensive informal exchange with the audience, in which young people interested in regional issues predominated, many of whom have visited Cuba.
