Wellington, October 7. Cuban Ambassador, Edgardo Valdés López, participated in a round table organized by the Latin American chapter of the Asia-Pacific Council for Excellence (Latam / CAPE) at the School of Government and Business of the University of Victoria.
The event was attended by Ambassadors or seconds from the GRULAC countries accredited in New Zealand, to promote business and investment opportunities in their respective countries.
20 students from all over the country, involved in the Young Enterprise Trust (YES) program, received information about the special qualities and characteristics of Cuba, our connections with New Zealand, how bilateral trade ties could grow, and the export opportunities that exist on the island. The blockade, the Mariel Special Development Zone, and other opportunities were some of the issues addressed.
