Wellington, December 10th, 2019. This afternoon, the Cuban Ambassador, Edgardo Valdés López participated in the meeting of the Heads of Missions of GRULAC with members of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliamentary Friendship Group in New Zealand.
During the exchange, which took place at the headquarters of the Parliament, the President of the Group and member of Parliament for Invercargill, Sarah Dowie reaffirmed the interest of New Zealand parliamentarians to increase their knowledge of the region and promote greater exchanges.
At the meeting, the Cuban diplomat expressed his satisfaction for the good state of bilateral relations and highlighted the interest in advancing in the areas of tourism and investment. (Embacuba NZ)
