Kuala Lumpur, November 10th - In an interview granted to Dato Lee Yew Meng, executive director of Genovasi, the company that owns the Malay Mail newspaper, the Cuban ambassador in Malaysia Ibete Fernández Hernández, denounced the resurgence of the blockade based on the measures announced by the United States government last November 8.
The ambassador explained the arbitrariness of the measures a few days after the vote in the General Assembly of the United Nations of the Cuban resolution condemning the blockade where 191 states spoke out against this unjust policy. She said that in addition to affecting the Cuban economy, the measures will affect US business, once again deprived of the possibilities offered by the Cuban market.
On the other hand, the ambassador took the opportunity to announce the central activity that will take place at Help University to commemorate the first anniversary of the physical disappearance of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro. According to Dato Lee Yew Meng, Fidel belongs to the world for his revolutionary legacy which must be maintained for the new generations.
