As of May 1st, 2018, the Consular Office of the Embassy of Cuba in Qatar will not accept cash for the payment of consular services. All payments must be made by bank transfer or deposit in the Embassy of Cuba account at least three days in advance before performing the service:
The exact amount of the service requested must be deposited. For this reason it is recommended to contact our embassy through the telephone numbers (+974) 4411 0713 & 0717 or to our emails firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com to confirm what is the amount you must pay. You must take into account that if you do not apply personally in the consulate you must pay, in addition, the amount of 93.00 QR for Non-Personal Application. The service will only be provided once it is confirmed that the applicant paid the amount that corresponds, so you must present a bank document confirming your transaction.
In the case of the visa application, it is recommended before depositing or transferring the payment for the service, that you previously submit the required documentation. In this sense, once your application has been approved, you will be informed of the amount to be transferred or deposited in the Embassy's account. The final granting of the visa will not proceed if the payment for the service is not verified.
A period of 3 months is established as a time limit so that once the amounts for consular procedures have been deposited, the users come to the Consulate to receive the service. After the 3-month time limit to complete the procedures, the Embassy will liquidate the third-party deposit and transfer it to the Other Income fund, as own funds, without claiming rights.
