Chancellor of Guyana ratifies support for the lifting of the blockade of Cuba.

Georgetown, October 11, 2017. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, and Second Vice-President, Carl Barrington Greenidge, received at the Foreign Ministry headquarters Cuban Ambassador Julio César González Marchante, where they discussed issues of common interest to both nations.

In the friendly meeting, the local Chancellor ratified the support of Guyana to the demand of the international community by the lifting of the blockade imposed to Cuba. At the same time, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen bilateral relations, in particular collaboration in different sectors as well as regional integration.
