Ambassadors of member countries of ALBA-TCP in Iran commemorate XIII Anniversary of the Alliance.

Tehran, December 12, 2017.- With the presence of Ambassador Mohammad Keshavarz Zadeh, Director General for the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, as well as the top diplomatic representatives of the member countries accredited in Tehran, was commemorated the 13th Anniversary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America, ALBA-TCP.
In lucid activity, held at the Faculty of World Studies of the University of Tehran, the ambassadors of Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Cuba, offered to the students and professors present, brief lectures in which they highlighted the beginnings, achievements and dreams that have sustained ALBA-TCP, and that strengthen it as an alternative to models, threats and imperialist interference.
The Ambassador of Cuba, Alexis Bandrich Vega, during his speech exposed a group of ideas of the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, from the first years of the Revolution, on the urgent need for integration and unity to achieve and consolidate the final independence of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Speaking on behalf of the Iranian government, Ambassador Keshavarz said that the development of ties with the ALBA-TCP countries is more than an option an obligation and a necessity, so the Islamic Republic of Iran will work for further progress in the political and commercial relations between our peoples.
