165th Anniversary of the Birth of José Martí commemorated in Ulan Bator.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. January 26, 2018. With the presence of young students from School No. 52 "José Martí" of Ulan Bator, the 165th Anniversary of the birth of our National Hero José Martí was commemorated this morning. The management of this Mongolian educational institution shared, along with the entire staff of teachers, this beautiful tribute which was attended by the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción.
At the ceremony, the bust of our distinguished patriot was adorned with a floral offering deposited by a student and the Ambassador. The words of the Ambassador of Cuba were devoted entirely to highlight the life and work of José Martí, especially his work and dedication to the young generations of Cubans

The Deputy Director of this teaching center shared with the students present the most important aspects of the biography of José Martí and in her words she illustrated the fundamental reasons why he became, during his short life, a symbol of struggle and resistance of all Cubans and Latin Americans.

In a later conversation with the students, the Ambassador also mentioned how the struggles for the definitive independence of the Cubans that took place later during the neocolonial period of the United States, had their fundamental basis in the thought and strategy outlined by José Martí to which all the Cubans today we continue studying.
